I graduated in 1991 from the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. My decision to go to vet school was prompted by a dog I had in high school that had severe allergies to the point of having to be euthanized secondary to the nasty side effects of prolonged steroid use.
Over the years I have become more interested in the human-animal bond. General practice has always been my focus. I am a new member of Cambrian Animal Hospital having started in late 2016. Just about every day is different. I have the opportunity to help nurture and maintain some wonderful pet human bonds. The atmosphere - a feeling of relaxed partnership and common purpose, is my favourite thing about the clinic.
I have become a big follower of Benjamin Franklin's thoughts on wine consumption. My first pet was a dog named Rexxy.
