Spring is finally here, and with that comes mosquitoes!
Dogs are exposed to many types of parasites such as fleas, ticks and yes, those pesky mosquitoes. They can be a nuisance to your dog and carry the most common viruses like West Nile virus or heartworm, and ticks can carry Lyme disease. Mosquitoes can be very irritating for your pet, buzzing around their heads, getting into their ears and their bites can cause skin irritations.
So why not try and find a product that could help with repelling all these parasites!
It is a popular question from our clients as to what they can use to repel mosquitoes that is safe for their dogs. Well, there is a product out there that can help, called Advantix. This product repels mosquitoes, and it also repels and kills ticks. This is a liquid product that you apply monthly between the shoulder blades, directly onto your pet’s skin.
